Because I saw a video on youtube where someone with the latest high end macbook pro has lag and performance issues, I was just wondering if it's still too early to start developing for mac? How old is that video? There were some serious issues when the first public version was released, but performance was improved significantly since then. You'll still need a high end machine though to run the editor with a useable frame rate.It was actually from a month ago. I own the same retina macbook pro (3 months old). 16 gig ram 512 ssd, Iris Pro + Nvidia GT 750M, 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7. When I saw the video I was a bit in doubt for buying the engine yet. Maybe I can just buy and try it, but just wondering if someone else here maybe tested it.
