I have upgraded to Sierra and Office continues to work but there are now some weird quirks that are bothersome. To open a file for Word I have to double click in the Office finder windows (didn't have to previously) (NOTE: in Apples Finder and all other apps I only have to click once) and then despite my file selection at the bottom of the finder window being set to show 'all files' the open button is greyed out.
