Microsoft Auto Update For Mac Risjy
Microsoft AutoUpdate for Mac This update is available from Microsoft AutoUpdate. AutoUpdate is provided together with Office. It automatically keeps Microsoft software up-to-date. To use AutoUpdate, start a Microsoft Office program, and then select Check for Updates on the Help menu. @maurie I am not sure where at on Microsoft's website you were looking but I had all of the 15.17 installers downloaded from Microsoft's website on day one. While in Microsoft AutoUpdate you can click on one of the updates in the list it will display a description of the update including a link to a KB article with more info.
Hi, I spent 6 hours with Microsoft support in the last 2 days to try to fix the auto-update issues on my Office 2016 for Mac. All my attempts at auto-udating result in the dreaded message: 'One or more update packages could not be downloaded. Please try again.' We have re-installed Office 2016 for Mac from scratch 3 times, changed the DNS server to Google's, nothing works. The issue has been escalated within Microsoft support.
The 3rd technician involved told me yesterday that the problem appears to be on Microsoft update servers. They're supposed to study the issue and get back to me within 72 hours to see if it can be solved.
Fingers crossed. Hi, I spent another hour or so with a Microsoft Support technician this morning and he could not find a solution to this issue. He suggested that the problem might be a slow Internet connection, which is quite odd because I have a Bell Fibe connection (fibre optic cable all the way to my house) that was tested this morning and showed 454Mbps download and 155 Mbps upload. Microsoft tech support has been clueless (spent close to 7 hours with their tech support people in the last 3 days) about this issue and it now appears that they want to pass the buck and blame it on my Internet Connection, my Internet Provider's router configuration or anything else that is not related to Microsoft. This is quite unfortunate and the issue remains unresolved.

Microsoft Auto Update For Office 2011
For your information, I have a late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina display, with Intel ICore 7 (4 core), 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD running Mac OS X HighSierra 10.13.1. I've had the auto-update issue for a while now, which has forced me to manually download and install updates to Office 2016 for Mac. My Office 2016 for Mac version is 15.40. Prior to manually updating to version 15.40, I could not use auto-update to update the regular version of Office 2016 for Mac. I attempted to join the Insider Fast Program but cannot do so because Auto-Update does not work and I do not have the links to manually download the update files for the Fast Insider Program.
Java Update For Mac
I have re-installed Mac OS X HighSierra once. I have re-installed Office 2016 for Mac from scratch on 3 occasions with Microsoft Tech Support and I have changed DNS servers to either Google DNS or OpenDNS. Nothing has worked so far. Best regards.
